Block Prism Privacy Policy

  • Effective date: 28 October 2026
  • Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy explains what data the Block Prism iPhone game collects, why, who receives it, and what you can do about it. We wrote it in plain language. If something is unclear, write to us (see "Contact").

The short version

  • Block Prism has no accounts. You do not give us your name or email to play.
  • Your progress, settings and Cores are stored on your iPhone and, if you allow it, in your own iCloud.
  • The game is free because of ads. Ads are shown by our ad partners, who may receive some device data.
  • We use Firebase to count anonymous gameplay events, collect crash reports and adjust game settings. We do not send names, emails or anything you type.
  • Ads are only personalized if you allow it (Apple tracking permission, and in some regions our consent screen).
  • You can change your choices at any time in Settings, then Privacy and data.
  • You can delete your data inside the app, or by email.
  • Block Prism is not directed to children, but it has no age check and players of any age may play. It has no social features. Ads stay non-personalized unless you allow personalization.

Who we are

Block Prism is published by Mehmet Aktug, an individual developer ("we", "us"). We decide why and how the data described here is used, so we are the "controller" under European and UK law.

Contact: support@luminastudio.ai. Postal address: Mehmet Aktug, Universiteler Mah 1606 Cd B Blok B401, 06800 Ankara, Turkiye (Turkey).

What we collect

We collect only what the game needs to run, to pay for itself and to get better.

Data stored only on your iPhone (and your iCloud)

  • Your game progress, stats, Cores, quests, Vault items, achievements and settings.
  • A random install ID that the game creates the first time it opens. It is not linked to your name, your Apple Account or your phone number.
  • Your privacy choices and the time you made them.
  • A short list of the last 5 ads shown (time, format, ad network), used only for the "Report an ad" feature. It stays on your iPhone until you choose to send a report, and is cleared when you delete your data.

We cannot see this data. It is not sent to any server of ours, because Block Prism has no backend in version 1.0.

Anonymous gameplay events (Firebase Analytics)

If analytics is on, the game sends short events such as "run started", "run ended with score and length", "screen opened" or "purchase completed". Each event contains only numbers, yes/no values and short codes from a fixed list. There is no free text and no personal data in them. Firebase also adds standard technical details: app version, iOS version, device model, language, approximate region and a random Firebase identifier for the install.

We use this to find bugs, balance the game and see which features are used. Analytics is a choice you can turn off (see "Consent and your choices").

Crash and performance reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If crash reports are on, the game sends a report when it crashes or freezes. It includes the technical state of the app at that moment: device model, iOS version, app version, memory and storage levels, and a random install identifier. It does not include your name, email or anything you typed.

Game settings (Firebase Remote Config)

The game downloads small settings from Firebase, for example how often ads may appear. To do this, Firebase receives the random Firebase install identifier, app version, iOS version and country.

Ads (Google AdMob)

To show ads, the game uses Google AdMob. AdMob lets advertisers bid for each ad. When an ad is requested or shown, Google and the advertisers and ad partners that take part in the AdMob auction may receive:

  • your iPhone's IP address, from which they work out an approximate region (not your exact location),
  • device details such as model, iOS version, language, screen size and network state,
  • a vendor identifier that is the same for all apps from the same publisher on your iPhone,
  • information about the ad itself: format, whether it was shown, clicked or finished, and the revenue it earned,
  • your Advertising ID (IDFA), only if you allowed tracking in the Apple prompt.

Ad partners also use this data to prevent fraud and to measure whether an ad led to an install. Apple's SKAdNetwork and AdAttributionKit let advertisers measure installs without learning who you are. The ad SDK handles those messages.

If you did not allow tracking, ads are still shown, but they are not personalized and the Advertising ID is not used.

The partner list can change over time. The current list is shown in the app under Settings, Privacy and data, "Why am I seeing ads". Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

In regions that require consent, the game shows a Google consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) and our own privacy screen. Google receives a request to show the right form, and your answer is stored on your iPhone as a consent record. We also keep your answers on your iPhone.

Purchases (Apple)

When you buy something, the payment is handled completely by Apple. We never see your card, Apple Account or billing details. The game checks with Apple which purchases you own, using Apple's StoreKit. An anonymous event ("purchase completed" with a product code) may be sent to analytics if analytics is on.

Game Center and iCloud (Apple)

  • Game Center is Apple's service. If you are signed in, your leaderboard scores and achievements are sent to Apple and shown to other players with your Game Center name. Apple's rules apply to that data. We do not keep a copy.
  • iCloud sync stores a small backup of your progress in your own iCloud (iCloud key-value storage). Only you can use it, and we cannot read it. You can turn it off in Settings, then Accounts and sync.

Notifications

If you allow them, the game schedules reminders on your iPhone. They are created on the device. We do not send push messages from a server, and we do not receive your notification settings.

When you contact us

If you email us or send an ad report from the app, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to answer you and to improve the game. Ad reports contain the ad network, the time, the reason and the app version, and no identifiers.

Our website

This website (blockprism.luminastudio.ai) is a static site hosted by Vercel Inc. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and loads nothing from other sites (even the fonts are served from the site itself).

Like almost every web host, Vercel's servers record standard technical request data in server logs when you open a page: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, your browser and device type and the page that linked to us. Vercel keeps these logs to deliver, secure and fix the website, under its own privacy policy. We do not use them to identify you or to build a profile of you.

What we never collect

We do not collect your name, email (unless you write to us), phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, precise location, health data, or anything you type. The game does not ask for these permissions.

The first time you open the game, we show a privacy screen if you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area (EU countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), the United Kingdom, Switzerland or Turkey. We also show it if we cannot tell where you are. The region comes from your iPhone's region setting, not from your location.

In these regions:

  • Analytics, crash reports and personalized ads are off until you answer.
  • "Accept optional" and "Essential only" look and work the same, so neither is pushed.
  • Google's form may appear after our screen if Google requires it.

Turkey is included as a cautious choice. If Turkish data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) applies to you, you can send your requests to support@luminastudio.ai (see "In Turkey" below).

Outside these regions, we do not show the screen. Analytics and crash reports are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time. Ads are personalized only if you allow tracking in the Apple prompt.

Apple tracking permission (ATT)

After your first run, the game may explain why ads use tracking and then show Apple's prompt. You can say "Not now" or "Ask App not to Track". The game works fully either way. You can change this in iOS Settings, then Block Prism, then Tracking. The game cannot change it for you.

Where to change your choices

Open Settings, then Privacy and data. There you can:

  • turn Analytics on or off,
  • turn Crash reports on or off,
  • open Ad choices (Google's form, shown only when required),
  • see your tracking status and jump to iOS Settings,
  • read "Why am I seeing ads" and "Report an ad",
  • export or delete your data.

Turning analytics off stops new events right away and clears events waiting on your iPhone. Data already received is covered by "How long we keep data".

Under GDPR and UK GDPR we must name a legal reason for each use.

WhatLegal reason

Keeping records of your consentOur legal duty to prove consent

Who receives data

  • Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, AdMob and the consent form) acts for us as a service provider, and for ads also on its own account.
  • Google AdMob and the ad partners that take part in the AdMob auction receive ad-related data as described above and handle it under their own privacy policies.
  • Vercel hosts this website and keeps standard server logs for it (see "Our website").
  • Apple handles purchases, Game Center, iCloud and the App Store under its own policy.
  • Authorities or advisers, only when the law requires it or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your data for money. See "Your rights" for how California law treats ad data.

Moving data between countries

Google and many ad partners are based in the United States or other countries outside your own. Where the law requires it, they use safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

These are the periods we plan to use.

DataHow long
Progress, settings, Cores on your iPhone and iCloudUntil you delete it in the app, delete the app, or remove iCloud data
Analytics events (Firebase)2 months for event-level data, then only combined statistics that do not identify you
Crash reports (Crashlytics)90 days
Remote Config requestsNot kept by us in a personal form; Google keeps technical logs for a short time
Ad data at ad partnersSet by each partner in its own policy
Consent recordAs long as the game is installed, plus 3 years in any logs we keep to prove consent
Website server logsKept by Vercel under its own retention settings
Emails and ad reports you send us12 months after the case is closed

Your rights

Because we have no accounts, we usually cannot tell which data in a partner's system belongs to you. To help us find it, use the "Export my data" button in the app and include the install ID from the file when you write to us. We may ask for it before we act, so we do not give your data to the wrong person.

In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland

You can ask us to:

  • tell you whether we use your data and give you a copy,
  • correct data that is wrong,
  • delete your data,
  • limit how we use it, or object to a use that relies on our legitimate interest,
  • hand over data you gave us in a common format (the in-app export does this),
  • stop a use that relies on your consent, at any time, without losing access to the game.

You can also complain to your data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office. In Switzerland it is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. We would like the chance to fix the problem first.

In Turkey

If Turkish law applies to you, you may have similar rights to ask whether your data is processed, to ask for information, correction or deletion, and to object. To use these rights, email support@luminastudio.ai or write to the postal address under "Contact".

In California and other US states

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated worse for using these rights. We do not sell your personal information for money. When you allow personalized ads, ad partners receive device identifiers and ad activity. Some US laws call this "sharing" for targeted advertising, or a "sale". You can stop it at any time by turning off tracking in iOS Settings and by choosing "Essential only" or switching personalized ads off in Privacy and data.

How to use your rights

  • In the app: Settings, Privacy and data, "Export my data" or "Delete my data".
  • By email: support@luminastudio.ai. We aim to reply within 7 days, and always within the time the law allows.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings, Privacy and data, "Delete my data", and hold the button for 1.5 seconds. This:

  • erases your progress, Cores, stats, achievements and settings from your iPhone and from your iCloud (if you are offline, the iCloud part is removed when you are next online),
  • creates a new random install ID and asks for your privacy choices again,
  • cannot be undone.

Two things stay, because Apple controls them: your purchases (you can restore them) and Game Center data. Delete Game Center data through Apple.

Deleting in the app does not automatically remove events already received by Firebase or by ad partners. To ask for that, email us with your install ID. We will pass your request on to the services that hold the data.

Children

Block Prism is not directed to children, and it has no age check: players of any age may play. The game has no accounts, no chat, no user-generated content and no social features. It collects only the data listed in "What we collect" and does not ask for a name, an email address or an age. The game is not in Apple's Kids category.

About ads:

  • Ads are non-personalized unless you give consent (Apple's tracking permission and, in some regions, our consent screen). Without consent the game does not use personalized ads.
  • We set the maximum ad content rating to G (general audiences) in the ad SDK, so ads should suit all ages. Ads come from partners, so we cannot promise that every ad is suitable. If you are a parent and you see an ad that is not suitable, use "Report an ad" in the app. You can also turn off tracking in iOS Settings, and use Apple's Screen Time controls.

If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

Data on your iPhone is protected by iOS. Data sent to Firebase and ad partners travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly safe. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game or the law changes, for example when we add an ad partner. The new version will have a new "Last updated" date. For important changes we will tell you in the app. If a change needs your consent, we will ask again.
